Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines how refunds, cancellations, and project changes are handled by Design Ur Site. By purchasing our services, you agree to the terms below, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. General Policy

We offer digital and creative services that require time, planning, and resource allocation. For this reason, most payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.

2. Deposits

  • All deposits are non-refundable.
  • A deposit secures project scheduling and initial design work.

3. Project-Based Services (Web & Graphic Design)

  • No refunds are provided once initial concepts or drafts have been delivered.
  • If a project is cancelled before any work has begun, only the remaining balance (excluding deposit) may be refunded.
  • Refunds are not provided for change of mind or delays caused by the client.

4. Hosting Services (Shared, VPS, Dedicated, Reseller)

  • Hosting payments are non-refundable due to server resource allocation.
  • Partial refunds are not provided for unused time on a subscription.
  • Refunds are not available for performance issues caused by client misuse, third-party software, or excessive resource consumption.

5. Domain Names

Domain registrations, renewals, and transfers are non-refundable under global ICANN regulations.

6. Digital Products

Digital files, templates, and downloadable assets cannot be refunded once delivered.

7. Printing Services

  • Printing orders cannot be cancelled once sent to production.
  • Reprints will be offered if the printing error is proven to be our fault.

8. Cancellation by Client

  • All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email.
  • If a client becomes unresponsive for 30+ days, the project may be considered cancelled.

9. Cancellation by Design Ur Site

  • We may cancel a project due to non-payment, abusive behaviour, or violation of our AUP.
  • In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
